The wood sash has a wide bottom rail and a narrow check rail – so your customers can stay true to their home's architectural integrity. Authentic spoon-style hardware and a more historical sash lift are also available.

Renovation products have a 3 1/4" pocket frame. Double-hung, casement and awning windows are made to order in 1/4" increments.

There are two benefits. The Low-E coating blocks 86% of the sun's heating and fading rays, helping to protect your customer's window treatments, furniture and flooring from fade damage. And the argon between the panes provides an extra layer of insulation from heat and cold.
Permanently bonded Integral Light Technology® grilles create the most realistic look of individual windowpanes. On Architect Series – Traditional products, they come in 7/8", 1 1/4" and 2" grille widths with an Ogee profile. On Architect Series – Contemporary products, they come in a 7/8" width with a Square profile.
Removable roomside wood grilles create the traditional look of true divided light in wood, but make glass cleaning easier. Available in 1 1/4" and 2" widths and only in Pine (Only available on Architect Series – Traditional products).
Permanent 3/4" grilles-between-the-glass create a smooth glass surface that's easy to clean.
Selling tip: Pine is the most versatile wood choice. It is the perfect blank canvas. It can be finished in a light color for a fresh, modern look. When stained in a rich color, it resembles darker woods.
Selling tip: Douglas Fir is renowned for its extra strength and striking beauty. It has a distinctive grain pattern and gives your customer's home a sleek, contemporary look.
Selling tip: Mahogany is one of the world's most desirable woods. For centuries, Mahogany has been sought after for its warm, rich color and fine-furniture elegance. Yes, this is a field-applied part for double-hung, casement and awning windows. It will be shipped out of unit.
Only Pine Architect Series windows and patio doors are available prefinished in your customer's choice of nine stain colors, three paint colors or primed.
Pella uses a nonglare, insulating foam spacer in between the panes of glass. This gives the illusion of individual panes of glass better than other manufacturers' metal spacer. Plus, this design is much more energy-efficient than true-divided-light grilles that divide the pane into smaller, individual pieces of glass.
The frame expander can be used with all product types. It is available to order as follows:

- Frame expanders are available in 1", 1 3/4", 2 1/2", 4" and 6". Receptor lengths are available in 144" or 96".

Yes, they are standard on double-hung units.
Approvals can be found on the Florida Department of Business and Regulation approval site where all Pella approvals are listed. Please search by "Pella" under the manufacturer name category and you will see all of Pella's approvals: Florida Building Code.
Pella takes this extra step to greatly reduce the possibility of seal failure. When the glass seal is compromised, it causes fogging and reduced energy efficiency and visibility.
Conventional fiberglass screens are standard on Pella Impervia windows and patio doors, and our high-transparency InView™ screen is available as an upgrade. The screen frame is color-matched to the window or door frame.

These products are tested to higher PG (DP) ratings. The ratings are achieved by adding more stiffeners to the products in order to meet PG (DP) ratings of 50 for coastal region needs. Multiple insulating air chambers provide strength and durability, and help provide excellent thermal performance.
Hardware is color-matched to the window, either White or Almond. The Cam-Action lock is standard, with the option to upgrade to an AutoLock.
Dual IG is 5/8 inch and Triple IG is 1 inch.
The foam insulation helps increase energy efficiency in extreme climates. Pella 250 Series products achieve U-Factors as low as 0.19 with triple IG and foam insulation.
Triple IG is the best option for sound control in Pella 250 Series products and is recommended for the customer who wants the best energy efficiency available plus excellent sound control.
Yes, this part is applied in the field and is available on double-hung, single-hung and sliding windows. It will be shipped out of unit.
No, we don't offer vent stops on sliding windows or single-hung units. These are only standard on double-hung units.

Yes, Encompass by Pella offers vent stop and WOCD (Window Opening Control Device) options. Encompass by Pella double-hung windows offer an integrated vent stop. To meet the specifications of ASTM F2090 code regulations that are being enforced in some areas, the Encompass by Pella single-hung has WOCD capability with a Jamb Adapter. The jamb adapter and WOCD are sold together as an out-of-unit service part for field installation. This jamb adapter is also available with the vent stop to be applied in the field.

We offer limited opening hardware and WOCD hardware for Encompass by Pella sliding windows. WOCD hardware is handed, so you will have to choose left hand or right hand. They are field-applied options.
